John Gogarty is vice president of Coyne Public Relation’s consumer and crisis communications groups. John guides a range of clients including Hard Rock International, The Walt Disney Company, Kraft Foods, Schwan Food Company, Campbell Soup Company and General Mills. He provides strategic direction for the accounts, ranging from crisis communications and product launches, to press trips and editor events, to philanthropic initiatives. His unbridled creativity, comprehensive marketing knowledge and extensive media contacts make him an indispensable member of the Coyne senior management team.
Hard Rock International, a loyal client that has followed John from another agency, joined the Coyne roster in 2003. John and his team currently oversee worldwide public relations for Hard Rock International’s 126 cafes, nine hotels and casinos and corporate publicity, as well as crisis communications for all of Hard Rock’s interests.
John and his team worked closely with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts’ internal communications team as Disney celebrated 50 years of theme park magic in 2005. John’s team also coordinated public relations efforts for new amenities and attractions at America’s favorite vacation destination.
John’s experience cuts across the world’s leading brands – throughout his career, John has successfully led award-winning programs for McDonald’s, AT&T, Frito-Lay, Miller Brewing Company, Foot Locker, Wilson Sporting Goods and Spalding Sports Worldwide.
